What Function Health is, and what Australia has

Function Health is a US membership based in Austin, Texas: 160+ lab tests a year, for US$365 a year. It runs in 48 US states. Its iPhone app is not on the Australian App Store.

Two Australian services do the testing. Everlab, from Melbourne, starts with a doctor-led baseline and plans tests with you. Vively starts with a Baseline Health Check of 70+ markers, with dietitian and nurse support.

What happens after you install

  1. Tell PULS3 what you want, in your own words or by tapping a starter. "More energy in the afternoon" is a fine answer.
  2. Connect Apple Health, or skip it. You can add an Oura ring later in Settings, and import a lab report whenever you have one.
  3. Get your first plan. Today's steps for movement, meals and recovery, with the reason for each.
PULS3 Today screen: the coach's main plan anchor, tonight's dinner, and the next steps in the day. PULS3 movement program: after a break, the next sessions are eased and marked Adjusted for you.

Already with Everlab or Vively?

Keep it. They test and help you read the results. PULS3 takes those results into the days in between: what to eat tonight, and whether to train hard tomorrow. When a week falls apart, the plan changes with it.

Questions before you install

Is Function Health available in Australia?

No. As of 17 September 2026, Function Health runs through labs in 48 US states only, and its iPhone app is not on the Australian App Store. Everlab and Vively offer health testing in Australia.

Does PULS3 do blood tests?

No. PULS3 does not order, run or replace blood tests. Import a PDF or photo of a report you already have. A cloud AI reads it, you check the values, and your coach uses them in your daily plan.

Can I use PULS3 with Everlab or my GP's results?

Yes. Everlab and your GP keep doing the testing and the medical advice. Import their report, and your daily plan uses those results until your next test.

What does PULS3 cost after 31 October?

PULS3 is free until 31 October 2026. After that it costs A$9.99 a month or A$89.99 a year for one person, or A$19.99 a month for a family. The App Store shows the price before you pay.

Is my health data private?

PULS3 is privacy-first. Your Apple Health data stays on your phone. Coaching replies use a cloud AI model call. If you sign in, the app encrypts your backup on your phone before it uploads.

Get your tests from Everlab, Vively or your GP. Get the plan for every day in between from PULS3.
